Choosing a Different Path After Graduation
Why I’m skipping the usual route and building myself first
Why I’m skipping the usual route and building myself first
After graduation, people usually go straight into certification processes—like the Civil Service Exam. It’s basically your pass to work in the government. Without it, you won’t be eligible for most government jobs.
But I’ve made a personal vow:
I won’t work for the government.
Why? Because you’re constantly under someone else's control. Growth is slow. And, let’s be honest—it can be a dirty system.
Instead, I decided to stay home after graduation.
I got myself a camera and started exploring photography. I chose this path because I want to grow as a person first. I believe I need more time to build myself up—to become unshakable—before I conquer the world.
At the same time, I want to enjoy my youth. Try new things. Because even if I manage to earn money now, the energy and time I have today won’t be the same in the future, when I’m older and probably worn out.
This is also my opportunity to build discipline—something I haven’t mastered yet. Self-control is essential, and yes, I’m still struggling. But I want to improve myself so I no longer do things aimlessly. I want to be the best version of myself—not just for me, but to attract the right kind of people into my life.
I’m hoping that by choosing this path, I’m laying the foundation for a better future—one that’s truly mine.
